Close to the beach for convenient food when spending a day in the sun. Friendly service, free water cups when dining in, and clean tables. Sandwiches could've used a little more meat on them but were otherwise filling. There were also unique side and dessert options such as the Ube pudding.

This is a great local spot. I had the chicken panini. My hubby had the Italian sandwich. The sandwiches are delish and the sides are epic. We loved the broccoli salad and fresh fruit sides. The service is friendly and prompt. This is a chill place with lots of people eating lunch after a day at the beach. The ambiance is totally Maui! We will be back.

This place is phenomenal. I will go back every time I go to Maui. Sandwiches were outstanding. I also had banana pudding. It had a cookie in it. Don't sleep on that!

Nice deli with a clean interior and ample indoor seating. There are eight tables that seat four each, plus bar seating by the front window with four stools. Friendly staff and quick service. My wife and I split a tuna sandwich--it was packed with tuna, crisp lettuce, fresh tomato slices, and delicious dill pickles. We'd definitely come back!

[Out-of-Towner Review] Same, but better! We were craving sandwiches and used Yelp to find one in or near Kihei. I saw the name of the restaurant and thought it seemed really familiar. When we arrived and I saw the sandwich board menu, I realized it was the same place we visited last trip, but it just has a new home/digs! I think the best part is that there is now seating to enjoy your meal. Their last spot was a grab-n-go style. I was feeling a wrap, so I ordered the Chicken Cesar salad wrap with the dressing on the side. I love that their Cesar is homemade! The wrap was great and refreshing. I also snagged a bag of Maui Onion chips and a Pepsi, my favorite accoutrement for a deli! The rest of the fam ordered sandwiches and hot dogs, all thoroughly enjoyed! This is a no frills experience. They rest their laurels on their food. You order at the counter and grab your chips and bottled/canned soda and then order your sandwich/hot dog/food. The seating is simple. They bring your food to your table. Its the perfect option to either sit and enjoy or take to go. Simple is best!

My fav deli is in a new location. Nicer and now you can dine in. Below and behind cafe Olei' Black and white new sign.

I went in for lunch and there was a long line, good sign, but it moved quickly. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich. The sandwich was very good, flavorful, with fresh tasting ingredients. I will definitely go back next time I'm in Kihei.

Really friendly staff. Nice spot to grab takeout or to dine in. Great cold salad selection. I ordered ahead, but once I got there I had to grab some of their broccoli salad since it looked so good. It was perfect on a nice warm day, we ate it so fast including our 3 year old. The sandwiches were great, pricing is simple, one size, keeps it simple. The Southern Squealer was fantastic, loaded up with pulled pork and nice coleslaw to add some crunch. Also got a Belly Dancer, which was okay. Much smaller in size compared to the Squealer. Arugula didn't really do much for the sandwich, the burnt ends were really tasty, but the meat was light. Tasty sandwich, but maybe should be on a smaller bread or something. Overall a great spot, if I lived in South Kihei I would certainly become a regular here.

We always love a GOOD sandwich spot anywhere we go, and honestly was pretty impressed with 808 Deli. This shop does work on a counter service type of spot but the employee at the front was really nice and welcoming. It was between lunch and breakfast time so I went and ordered a panini and my wife ordered a breakfast sandwich. The SSM was delicious and the garlic aioli spread on the sandwich was fire. My sandwich was just enough spicy to the point where the flavors are all still there. If you're ever in town on vacation in Maui and staying in Kihei, 808 deli is a MUST check out spot.
